Triple Chocolate Cake

IMG_2151_1

This is a really simple and amazing recipe.  It is so quick, yet delicious.  If I hadn’t tried it, I wouldn’t have thought it would even work.  It has just 3 ingredients.  It contains no eggs, no oil or butter, no liquid other than the pudding that is stirred into it, yet it turns into a fudgy cake with a very nice texture.  My family loved it.  Once it cools, you just sprinkle it with powdered sugar, or top it with ice cream or fresh berries.  We tried it all three ways and it is wonderful no matter how you top it.

Ingredients:

one 4-serving package of instant chocolate pudding, mixed with 2 cups of milk as directed on package

1 box dry chocolate cake mix- do not mix according to package, just use it dry

12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips, I used milk chocolate

Directions:

Here are all the ingredients:

Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or so.  Allow to cool completely, then cut into squares.  Serve with a sprinkling of powdered sugar, or with fresh berries, or with ice cream.
