Pancakes
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 Tablespoons melted butter or margarine
In a large bowl, compine the dry ingredients, then stir in the wet ingredients. Mix until smooth. Lightly oil a flat griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Use a 1/4 cup measure to ladle batter onto hot skillet.
When large bubbles begin to appear, they’re ready to turn. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
What wonderful memories this pancake recipe brings back! All of the camping trips we had with our friends and families. Who new you could make homemade pancakes (I always made them from a box) until we camped with Debbie Lewis!!!
